Introducing agent and attribution
Zapier

Zapier

Use Zapier or Make to send attribution data from any form, CRM, or tool to Finseo. The universal connector for AI source tracking.

Overview

What you get with the Zapier integration

For tools that do not have direct webhook support or that need transformation logic, use Zapier or Make as a bridge. Trigger on form submission, contact creation, or any event from one of 8000+ apps. Add an HTTP action that POSTs the data to the Finseo API. Map your fields visually. Activate. Done.

Use cases

What you can do with Zapier and Finseo

Real ways Zapier customers use Finseo to track and grow AI search revenue.

  1. 01

    Google Forms attribution

Trigger on Google Forms submission, then HTTP POST to Finseo. Capture "How did you find us?" responses from any Google Form.

  2. 02

    Squarespace contact form

Squarespace forms do not have direct webhook support. Use Zapier to bridge form submissions to Finseo for attribution tracking.

  3. 03

    Multi-step workflows

Combine multiple data sources: enrich a form submission with Clearbit data, then POST to Finseo for attribution. Build full pipelines without code.

  4. 04

    Conditional attribution

Only send to Finseo if the deal value exceeds a threshold, or if the lead is from a specific country. Zapier filters and Make modules handle the logic.

  5. 05

    Legacy CRM integration

For older CRMs without modern webhook support (Sugar, Zoho older versions, custom CRMs), Zapier connectors handle the bridge to Finseo.

Why it matters

Why Zapier customers need AI visibility tracking

Zapier connects to over 8000 apps and Make to over 2000. Together they cover virtually every tool used in modern marketing and sales stacks. For Finseo, this means you can capture AI attribution data from any source, even tools without native webhook support. The Zapier and Make integrations are the universal bridge that makes Finseo Attribution work for every team, regardless of stack.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Zapier

Answers to the most common questions about the Zapier integration.

Use Zapier when your source tool does not have a direct Finseo integration, when you need conditional logic (only send certain leads), when you need data transformations (format dates, parse strings), or when you want to combine multiple data sources before sending to Finseo.

Webhooks by Zapier (the action you need) requires a paid Zapier plan starting at $19.99/month. Make has a free tier that includes HTTP requests, with 1000 free operations per month. For most teams, the free Make tier is sufficient.

Zapier is simpler with more app integrations but more expensive. Make is more powerful with visual workflows, conditional logic, and lower pricing, but has a steeper learning curve. Both work equally well with Finseo. Use what you already have.

Yes. Map dealValue (number), dealCurrency (3 letter ISO code like USD), respondentEmail, respondentName, formId, pageUrl, and metadata in your JSON body. Finseo records all of these and uses them for revenue attribution and reporting.

Bearer token authentication. Add a header Authorization: Bearer sk_live_yourkey to your Zapier or Make HTTP request. Generate the key at Finseo /api. Treat it as a secret. Rotate keys if you suspect leakage.

Fully supported. Build a Make scenario with multiple modules: trigger on form submission, enrich with Clearbit, lookup HubSpot contact, then POST to Finseo. Make handles the data flow and you only see the final attribution in Finseo.

Yes. Use Zapier filters to only send certain leads to Finseo (e.g. only B2B leads, only deals over $1000). Use Zapier paths for conditional logic (different fields per source). All of this works seamlessly with the Finseo API endpoint.

A native Finseo Zapier app is in development. The current setup uses Webhooks by Zapier with HTTP POST, which works perfectly today. The native app will simplify field mapping but offer the same functionality. Subscribe to product updates to get notified at launch.
