Data and Reporting Integrations: Looker Studio, Finseo MCP, and the Finseo API

Your AI visibility data should not stay locked in a dashboard. The data and reporting integrations move Finseo metrics for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews into the places where you report and work. The Looker Studio community connector powers white label client reports. The Finseo MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor query your visibility, competitor, source, and task data in plain language. The Finseo REST API gives developers the same numbers as the dashboard for custom pipelines, data warehouses, and automation. Every integration respects workspace project restrictions and returns data filtered by timeframe, AI model, and tag.

Overview

About Data & Reporting integrations

Get your Finseo AI visibility data out of the dashboard and into the tools where you report and work: Looker Studio for white label client reports, the Finseo MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, and the Finseo REST API for custom pipelines. Same numbers as the dashboard, filtered by timeframe, AI model, and tag.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Data & Reporting integrations

Answers to the most common questions about Finseo Data & Reporting integrations.

Three. The Looker Studio community connector for dashboards and white label client reports, the Finseo MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP clients, and the Finseo REST API for programmatic access. All three return the same numbers you see in the Finseo dashboard and are included on every plan.

Daily and time series visibility metrics (visibility rate, mention rate, citation rate, average mention order), competitor rankings and head to head comparisons, top cited sources, prompt level results and answer content, query fan-outs, sentiment, tasks, tags, and attribution records. Every endpoint supports timeframe, AI model, and tag filters.

The remote MCP server runs at api.finseo.ai/v1/mcp. Claude and ChatGPT connect through OAuth: you sign in with your Finseo account and approve access, no key handling needed. Cursor and headless clients authenticate with an API key. All MCP tools are read only, and workspace project restrictions are enforced automatically.

Create an API key under Settings, then API. Keys can be scoped to read or read and write and restricted to specific projects. Send the key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Rate limits, response formats, and an OpenAPI specification are documented at docs.finseo.ai.

Yes. The Looker Studio connector imports daily visibility trends, competitor rankings, top sources, prompt performance, and fan-outs into Looker Studio, where you apply your own branding, add other data sources such as GA4 or Search Console, and schedule delivery. The Finseo Report Builder is an alternative for PDF and PPTX exports.

Yes. All three read from the same metrics that power the Finseo dashboard, with the same definitions: visibility rate is the share of AI answers where your brand is named or your domain is cited, mention rate counts text mentions, citation rate counts domain citations. Filters by timeframe, AI model, and tag behave identically.

Yes, for selected resources. Read and write API keys can create and update projects, add prompts, create tags, and submit attribution records (single or bulk). Visibility metrics, competitor data, sources, and answer content are read only because they are generated by Finseo's tracking runs.

Use the REST API with n8n, Zapier, or Make to push data anywhere, or query the MCP server from any MCP compatible client. The bulk export endpoint returns full datasets for data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake. Contact us if you need a native connector for another BI tool.
