AEO Tasks: your data, turned into a to-do list

Finseo joins AI answers, citations, crawl data, Search Console, analytics and intent research into one prioritised task list. Every task carries the evidence that triggered it, a step-by-step plan and an impact-versus-effort score. Assign it to a team, hand it to an agent, or push it into Asana, awork, Jira or monday.

The data behind a task

Millions of data points, one list you can actually work through.

A task is never a hunch. Each one is the point where several data sets agree that something is worth doing, and the task carries that evidence with it so nobody has to re-open six dashboards to justify the work.

A priority score, not a gut feeling

Every task is scored for impact and for effort, and the list sorts itself so the top of it is always the best next hour of work. Nobody has to argue about what comes first.

Technical work goes to the developers, content work to the writers, off-site work to PR. The category already says who owns it.

Auto-resolvable tasks can go straight to the Finseo agent, which edits the connected CMS and asks for approval before every change.

Every task knowswhich desk it belongs on.

Tasks are filed by category, which is also the fastest way to split the list across a team: the developers filter to technical, the writers to content, PR takes off-site and reputation.

Getting tasks out

The work happenswhere your team already works.

A task list nobody opens is a report. Finseo pushes tasks into the tool your team lives in, with the title, the category, the priority score and the plan attached, and reads the status back when the ticket closes.

AEO Tasks FAQCommon Questions

AEO tasks are concrete, prioritised to-dos generated from your project data: AI visibility tracking, crawl audits, Search Console, analytics and competitor analysis. Each one is a piece of work with evidence, a plan and an impact-versus-effort score, not a generic recommendation.

Each task carries an impact score from 1 to 10 and an effort score from 1 to 10. The priority score weights impact against effort, so a high-impact, low-effort task beats a big rewrite. The list is sorted by it, and you can filter to a minimum impact if you only want the big wins.

AI answers and citations from every tracked model, prompt research and intents, a technical crawl of your pages, Google Search Console, AI bot traffic, competitor gap analysis and off-site sources such as forums and review sites.

Seven: technical, content, visibility, competitor, offsite, reputation and setup. The category decides which desk a task lands on, and it is also the filter your developers, writers and PR team use to see only their own work.

Yes. Tasks leave Finseo through Zapier, n8n, a custom webhook, the REST API or the MCP server, which covers Asana, awork, Jira, monday, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, Linear and anything else with an inbox. See the integrations overview for the available routes.

Auto-resolvable tasks can be handed to the Finseo agent, which edits your connected CMS directly. Every change needs your approval and can be rolled back. Your own agents can read the list through the MCP server.

Manually, or by themselves. Many tasks are auto-resolvable: when the next crawl or the next tracking run sees the fix live, the task closes on its own and the change shows up in your visibility reports.

An audit lists findings. Tasks list work. Each task says what to do, on which URL, in which order, why it matters and what it is worth, and it is derived from how AI models actually answer about your brand rather than from a checklist. See AI content optimization for the content side of it.

Yes. Offsite and reputation tasks point at the forum threads, comparisons and review pages that AI models cite about your category, including what to say and where. That is often faster than another content project.

Continuously. Tracking runs daily, audits run on a schedule, and new tasks appear as the data changes: a competitor overtakes you in a prompt, a page loses its structured data, a new thread starts ranking as a source. Check the pricing page for the limits per plan.

Split the list by category. Developers take technical, writers take content and visibility, product marketing takes competitor, PR takes offsite and reputation. Agencies usually assign per client project, which is what the agency plans are built for.

Yes, tasks are generated per project, so every brand, domain or market has its own list and its own priorities. Multi-brand and multi-region setups are covered by Enterprise plans.

How tasks are made

From scattered signalsto a ticket somebody closes.

Step 1 · Connect

Bring the data together

Connect Search Console, analytics, your CMS and the prompts you track. Finseo crawls your pages, runs the prompts daily and records every answer, citation and source.

Step 2 · Prioritise

Let the list sort itself

Where the data sets agree that something is worth doing, a task appears: scored for impact and effort, filed by category, with its evidence and a step-by-step plan attached.

Step 3 · Ship

Assign, ship, verify

Send tasks to a team, an agent or your PM tool. The next audit checks whether the fix is live, resolves the task and shows what the change did to your visibility.
