How to connect Close to Finseo

    Get your Finseo webhook URL

    In Finseo, click Connect on the Close integration card to reveal your project webhook URL.

  2. 02

    Open Close Developer settings

    In Close, go to Settings, then Developer, then Webhooks.

  3. 03

    Add a webhook subscription

    Click Add Webhook. Set the URL to your Finseo webhook URL. Subscribe to lead.created events. Optionally add opportunity.created for revenue tracking.

  4. 04

    Add a custom field

    In Close Settings, then Custom Fields, add "How did you find us?" as a text field on Leads. Close includes all custom fields in webhook payloads.

    Test and activate

    Create a test lead with the attribution value. Check the Finseo Attribution dashboard within seconds.

The integration focuses on attribution data (where leads come from). Email and call activity stay in Close natively. If you want to combine call activity with attribution data for richer analytics, use Zapier to bridge Close activity to Finseo metadata.

Yes. Close fires webhooks within 1 to 2 seconds of the trigger event. Finseo processes the payload and updates the dashboard within another 5 to 10 seconds. Total latency is under 15 seconds.
