How to connect Pipedrive to Finseo

A few steps to wire up your Pipedrive account with Finseo. No code required.

    Get your Finseo webhook URL

    In Finseo, click Connect on the Pipedrive integration card to reveal your project webhook URL.

  2. 02

    Add a custom field in Pipedrive

    Go to Pipedrive Settings, then Data Fields, then Deal or Person. Add a custom field "How did you find us?" as text or single option.

  3. 03

    Create a Pipedrive Automation

    Go to Automations, then Create automation. Set trigger to Deal created (or stage change to Won, or Person created).

  4. 04

    Add a Send Webhook action

    Add action Send webhook. Set URL to your Finseo webhook URL. Pipedrive sends all deal and person fields including custom fields.

  5. 05

    Activate and test

    Enable the automation and create a test deal with the custom field filled in. Check the Finseo Attribution dashboard within seconds.

Via Pipedrive Automations with a Send webhook action. You build an Automation that triggers on a deal or person event, then sends the record fields to Finseo as JSON. No third party tools, no custom code, no Pipedrive marketplace apps required.

Automations with webhook actions are available on Pipedrive Advanced, Professional, and Enterprise plans. The Essential plan does not include Automations. If you are on Essential, use Zapier or Make as a bridge to POST Pipedrive data to the Finseo API.

Deal created, Deal updated, Deal stage changed, Deal won, Deal lost, Person created, Person updated, Lead created, Activity completed. Most teams trigger on Deal created and Deal stage changed to Won for full pipeline and revenue attribution.

Add a custom field like "How did you find us?" to Deals or Persons. Sales reps fill it in during qualification calls, or you can populate it from a form via Zapier. The Automation includes the custom field in the webhook payload, and Finseo auto detects it.

Yes. The Pipedrive webhook includes deal value, currency, and AI source. Finseo categorizes the source into AI buckets (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) and aggregates revenue per engine. The Attribution dashboard shows pipeline and closed revenue by AI engine over any time period.

No. The current integration is one way (Pipedrive to Finseo). The Finseo agent does not edit Pipedrive deals or fields. For bidirectional sync (e.g. updating Pipedrive with AI visibility scores), contact us.

Finseo categorizes the deal as "unknown source" and aggregates it separately. As reps fill in more deals, attribution accuracy improves. You can also set up a follow-up Automation that emails the rep when a won deal is missing source data.

Yes. Pipedrive Automations fire webhooks within 1 to 3 seconds of the trigger condition. Finseo processes the payload and updates the dashboard within another 5 to 10 seconds. Total latency is under 15 seconds.
