Calendly

Connect Calendly to capture attribution from booking form questions. Know which AI engines drive demos, sales calls, and consultations.

Overview

What you getwith the Calendly integration

Finseo connects to Calendly via native webhook subscriptions. When someone books a meeting and answers a routing question like "How did you hear about us?", Calendly sends the booking data to Finseo. Finseo extracts the answer and categorizes it into AI source buckets so you see which engines drive demos.

Why it matters

Why Calendly customersneed AI visibility tracking

Calendly is the dominant scheduling tool with over 20 million users. Sales and demo bookings are some of the highest intent conversions for B2B SaaS. Without attribution, you cannot answer "Which AI engine drives the most demo bookings?". The Finseo Calendly integration solves this with a routing question and a webhook subscription. Total setup takes 5 minutes and gives you direct booking attribution to AI search.

FAQ

Calendly and AI search visibilityquestions people ask before choosing a tool

Finseo offers a native Calendly integration that attributes demo bookings, sales calls and consultations to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and other AI engines through a Calendly webhook subscription. As an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform, Finseo reads the "How did you hear about us?" invitee question from every booking and categorizes it into AI source buckets.

Add a "How did you hear about us?" invitee question to your demo event type in Calendly, then subscribe a webhook on invitee.created that points at Finseo. Finseo extracts the answer from each booking and categorizes it, so you see how many demos, sales calls and consultations came from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude.

Yes. Finseo is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform with a native Calendly webhook integration. Calendly schedules the meeting; it does not know whether the prospect found you on ChatGPT or Perplexity, nor does it report bookings per engine. Finseo tracks AI visibility and attributes every Calendly booking to its AI source.

Click Connect on the Calendly card in Finseo to copy your webhook URL. In Calendly, add a "How did you hear about us?" invitee question to your event type, then go to Integrations, then Webhooks, set the callback URL and subscribe to invitee.created. Book a test meeting and check Finseo within 10 seconds. Total setup takes about 5 minutes.

Calendly sends the booking payload on invitee.created, including invitee answers to custom questions and the event type ID, so Finseo can attribute demo, sales and webinar event types separately. Calendly does not include lead or deal value; Finseo combines Calendly attribution with CRM revenue data from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close or Attio.

Yes. The Calendly integration is included in every Finseo plan with no per-integration fees. On the Calendly side, webhook subscriptions require the Standard, Teams or Enterprise plan; the free Calendly plan does not include webhooks. Free-plan users can bridge Calendly bookings to the Finseo API with Zapier instead.

Yes. Consultancies and agencies use the Finseo Calendly integration to see which AI engines drive prospect consultations, often the highest intent traffic for service businesses. Each Finseo project has its own webhook URL, so an agency can run separate attribution per client, and Routing forms as well as standard custom questions are supported.

No. Without a routing question and an attribution tool, a Calendly booking carries no source, and any "How did you hear about us?" answer is lost in Calendly notes rather than reported per engine. Finseo adds Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) attribution: it categorizes Calendly answers into ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude buckets per booking.

Yes. Calendly fires invitee.canceled and invitee.rescheduled events in addition to invitee.created, and Finseo accepts all of them. Cancellations are tracked separately, so you can combine no-show and cancellation data with source data to find which AI engines drive the most committed prospects. Bookings appear in Finseo within 15 seconds.
