Webflow

Beta

Connect your Webflow site and let the Finseo agent update CMS collection items, page SEO settings, Open Graph tags, and inject structured data autonomously.

Overview

What you getwith the Webflow integration

Finseo connects to your Webflow site via the Webflow Data API and gives you an AI agent that can read and edit your CMS, page settings, and metadata. Ask it to optimize all blog posts in a collection, rewrite page SEO titles, inject FAQ schemas, or generate OG images. The agent works in chat, asks for approval, and publishes changes to your live site on command.

Use cases

What you can dowith Webflow and Finseo

01

CMS bulk optimization

Rewrite titles, slugs, summaries, and SEO fields across hundreds of CMS items in minutes. The agent reads each item and proposes optimized content matching your brand voice.

02

Page SEO at scale

Update SEO titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph titles, OG descriptions, and Twitter card data across every Webflow page. Multi-locale sites get translations propagated automatically.

03

Inject JSON-LD schemas

Add Product, Article, FAQPage, HowTo, BreadcrumbList, or Organization schema to any page. The agent injects schema into the page custom code or the site head, depending on scope.

04

AEO content restructuring

Convert long paragraphs into H2 questions, definition lists, comparison tables, and TL;DR cards. These formats are extracted and cited by Perplexity and ChatGPT 3 to 5 times more often.

05

Publish on command

After approving changes, the agent stages and publishes them to your live Webflow site in one step. No manual designer involvement needed for content updates.

Why it matters

Why Webflow customersneed AI visibility tracking

Webflow powers marketing sites, portfolios, and content hubs for over 200,000 active customers. Webflow sites typically rank well in traditional search but underperform in AI search because they lack the schema markup and AEO formatting that ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews favor. The Finseo agent fills that gap, restructuring content and injecting schemas so Webflow sites compete in AI search alongside WordPress and custom builds.

FAQ

Webflow and AI search visibilityquestions people ask before choosing a tool

Finseo offers a native Webflow integration: an AI agent that connects through the Webflow Data API and edits CMS collection items, page SEO settings, Open Graph tags, and JSON-LD schemas for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), then publishes on your command. The resulting citation lift is tracked daily across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.

Inject JSON-LD through Webflow custom code at page or site level, with no Designer changes. The Finseo Webflow agent does this on request: ask for FAQ schema on all pricing pages and it adds Product, Article, FAQPage, HowTo, BreadcrumbList, or Organization schema, validated against schema.org before publishing. Schema is a strong citation signal for Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Yes. Finseo is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform with a native Webflow integration. Webflow gives you page SEO settings and a CMS but no data on whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews cite your site. Finseo tracks those citations daily and its agent rewrites CMS items, SEO fields, and schemas inside Webflow. The two tools do different jobs.

In Webflow, go to Site Settings, Apps and Integrations, API access, click Generate API token, name it Finseo, and enable the CMS, Pages, and Assets scopes. Paste the Site API Token into the Webflow card in Finseo. Finseo verifies it and reads your collections, pages, and locales. Setup takes about 2 minutes; the first agent task runs within 5.

The Site API Token gives Finseo read and write access to Webflow CMS collections, page SEO settings, custom code, and assets, plus permission to trigger publishing. The agent edits CMS item fields, titles, descriptions, OG and Twitter card data, and injects JSON-LD; it cannot modify Designer layouts, components, interactions, or styles. Nothing goes live until you approve and publish.

Yes. The Webflow integration is included in every Finseo plan with no per-integration fees. On the Webflow side you need a site with API access to generate a Site API Token. Webflow Localization is fully supported, and Webflow Ecommerce product fields can be edited on Webflow Ecommerce plans (Standard, Plus, Advanced), where the Ecommerce API is available.

Yes. Agencies connect each client's Webflow site with its own Site API Token to a separate Finseo project, then run the same agent prompts per site: rewrite SEO titles across a Blog Posts collection, add FAQ schema, translate a collection into German. Designers keep working in the Webflow Designer untouched while the Finseo agent handles content, SEO fields, and publishing.

Webflow sites typically rank well in Google but often lack the schema markup and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) formatting that ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews favor: H2 questions, definition lists, comparison tables, and JSON-LD. Webflow itself reports nothing about AI citations. Finseo adds the missing layer inside Webflow and tracks citations so your site competes with custom builds.

Yes. Webflow Localization is fully supported by Finseo. The agent reads the locales available on your Webflow site and can translate, rewrite, or optimize content per locale, keeping translations in sync with the source locale. You can ask it to update all locales in one task, for example translating every item in the Articles collection into German.
